The Eagle Has Died

Breaking News...

The American Bald eagle, full of the boundless spirit of freedom, living above the valleys, strong and powerful in his might, has been the national emblem of a country that had offered freedom in word and thought and opportunity  has been murdered!

The Bald Eagle has served as the emblem of the United States since 1782 when the great seal of the United States was adopted. This wonderful, vibrant and valiant creature has served well and proudly for some 228 years. Mere gazing at this proud magnificent creature can take one’s breath away.

As of late this magnificent bird has taken on a somewhat tattered appearance. This emblem has been harassed and hunted by weaker prey. These weaker prey have joined in masses to accomplish the damage that had not been effective unilaterally. These attacks have taken a toll on our dear national emblem. This magnificent eagle has become tired, worn and sullied, even bloodied.

Through the Civil War, both World Wars, Viet Nam, and the middle east conflicts this bold yet battered eagle has flown high and free. It has been picked at by the ACLU, civil unrest, Watergate, Clinton-gate, and Florida voting tampering – tattered and wearied it still flew high and proudly.

Tuesday, the eagle died. This great and magnificent bird was murdered by the judicial system of California. This great bird died August 4, 2010 at the hands of so called Judge Vaughan Walker. The details are frightening and almost beyond imagination. Single handedly this judge did what Germany, Japan, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, and internal citizens crazed with civil disobedience could not do: kill our national freedom represented by this golden bird.

In a single decision by a homosexual judge the voting right of seven million Californian’s were immorally rejected. In a single act of judicial misconduct Californians were sent the message that they no longer had the right to utilize their constitutional rights to vote. They were also told that they could not by majority and due process of the electoral system define the institution of marriage.

This magnificent emblem of American liberty and justice died August 4, 2010 at the hands of another. This American symbol was 228 years old. The eagle was loved by the majority and hated by a small growing minority leaves no survivors. America is no longer free nor democratic. America is now ruled by non-elected activist judges who care not for the rights and voice of millions of now disenfranchised Americans.

Mr. Bald Eagle, our valiant and gallant symbol of American freedom and liberty may you now rest in peace.

Sorry about the eagle Gregg , our laws leave much to be desired so where is our Land Of Hope And Glory Gone?" the same way as your proud eagle.

Enjoy your week-end.

Most folks knew that the California proposition would be challenged in court if it passed because the initial ruling to allow gay marriage was permitted by the California Supreme Court in 2008. My sense is that we are on a course whereby the Supreme Court of the US will settle the matter.

It's pretty sad where one judge in one state can over ride the majority!

Yvonne - Thanks! What a shame when men and women reject God's rule and look to themselves - we are only a little over 200 years old and have degenerated into this.

KB - there's no doubt that you are right. It will get worse long before the King returns. It still saddens me to see what is happening.

IanH - yes, Ian it is sad to see what activist judges can do. Rather than ensure justice is done they are now appointed to carry out political idelologies that can't be won by the ballot. They are not even elected so you can't touch them.

The people of the United States must realize that this nation is under attack from the inside. There is a war going on and the enemy is taking the freedoms, the liberties and the rights of the American people away in a planned and calculated assault. This is not "One nation under God"; there is a second nation (unbelief) attempting to destroy the first (belief). This judicial decision is the death of the right to utilize our country's constitutional right to vote through due process of the electoral system and majority rule. Being that this decision on Sin is in direct opposition to the Word of God (the Holy Scripture of the Bible), not only the national bird died, but the nation motto died also ... unless they are taken back. America bless God. and in the words of our great President Lincoln, "that we highly resolve that these dead (who fought for and protected the Freedom, Liberty, and Union of this Country)shall not have died in vain - that this nation, under God, shall havea new birth of freedom - and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

I KNEW you werent as apolitical as you claimed. It only takes the right issue to stir such a response.

In the weeks and months leading up to this decision by Herr Walker, did anyone else hear a peep from the mainstream media that Walker himself is gay? Fancy that!

Great post! This is one that should be forwarded around in email - before it's illegal to say anything about the subject. That day is coming soon, too.
Keep up the great work, and may the

Lord find us persevering on His return!

Did you catch the Chris Wallace's interview with conservative attorney Ted Olson yesterday on Fox News Sunday about this issue? You can view part of it here. The entire interview may be on Fox.

I am thankful God is in control. Even when this world is falling apart, it is He who sovereignly rules.
...."i pledge alligence to the republic, for which it stands."
...still one nation under God, even when not still a rebulic.

Rev 22:21 "He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!"
